All levels and all ages
As well as owning a couple of horses we have access to many local horses and also private riding school facilities.Therefore whether you are an experienced rider or a complete beginner we can arrange activies to suit.
Experienced Endurance Horse Treks
This region is regnognised within central europe as one of the most unspoilt and well protected area of mountaneous park land.You can literally ride for days without having to get onto a car roadway. We 
arrange for either day or two day long rides (with a stop over at an associated forest hotel). You are accompanied by a local guide who will plan your route with your complete consultation ensuring that you spend the right length of time going at the pace that you want. The majority of horses used are related to the german warmblood breed. They have a fantastic temperament as well as unbelievable stamina all combined with a comfortable ride. This gives you the option to enjoy long endurance rides over mountaneous terrain through forests and cross mountain streams.
Novice treks
The horse riding stables offer experienced english speaking tuition and guided short treks. This allows even a complete beginner the opportuinity to learn in the ring but later go on to ride out into the forests. For those riders with partners or friends who cannot ride this provides an ideal opportunity for them to get a grouding and then ride out alongside you though miles of safe trekking country.
Cross country racing
At regular times throughout the summer the local horse owners stage cross country race events. These resemble Point to Point racing in the Uk but for complete amateurs. This is a fun day out with owners coming from all over the region to race , enjoy a spit roast and sample some local Vodka.The local horse owners are more than happy to allow us to loan out horses for riders staying with Fireside Holidays to race.
Whatever your selection at the end of the day all we ask is that you settle down beside the fire back at the house and share your tales of the day and previous days.
