All levels and all ages
The House sits in an ideal location as a location for walking holidays. The house borders the national forest and therefore walking treks can literally start from the back door. The initial terrain suites walkers who enjoy a gentle hike through beautiful scenery with foothills surrounded in forest. More experienced walkers can choose to continue into the Karkonski National Park with its more mountaneous territories. Each season holds its own delights for walkers with the new life of spring right , the green vastness of a warm summer, the beautiful colours of the forest in autumn and into the christmas card scenes of winter. Walkers can choose to start from the house or alternatively take a low cost minibus into other regions with organised stay overs and returns.
Experienced Endurance Walks
The northern part of the Karkonosze, the highest part of the Sudeten massif, is under protection as the Karkonoski National Park, with an area of 5,579 ha. This ensures that walkers can enjoy a freedom to wander along well posted tracks for mile upon mile far away from towns and cars. To enhance the experience we can pre-book stay overs in mountain lodges which are situated deep in the forest and orginally set up for foresters to use. This means that those who wish to can take two or three day hikes into the forest wilderness.
Poland a forgotten walk
Many walkers who visit us comment on the fact that Central Europe is almost a forgotten place. Hikers who have travelled far and wide find the tranquility and unspoilt beauty extremely suprising. Given the closeness to the UK and the availability of low cost flights it makes it a fantastic short getaway. When combined with some of the health treatments available a walker often find themselves spending a couple of days hiking followed by a couple of days pampering with massages and pedicures.
